Terms of use
The agreement for using Customer Roster for Jira Service Management.
1. Who this is between
These terms are between Gold Standard Web LLC and the organization that installs Customer Roster for Jira Service Management (the "app") ("you"). By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you buy the app through the Atlassian Marketplace, the Atlassian Marketplace terms also apply.
2. What you may do
While your subscription is active (or while you're within the free tier), you may use the app on the Jira Service Management Cloud site it's installed on, for your organization's own work, including managing your clients' customers if you provide services to them.
3. What you may not do
- Copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it.
- Use it to break the law or anyone's rights, including privacy and anti-spam laws.
- Try to get around licensing or usage limits.
4. Payment
Prices, billing and refunds are handled by Atlassian through the Marketplace. If your license lapses, the app stops importing, syncing and adding participants, and leaves everything it did in place.
5. Your data
Your data stays yours. The app stores only what's described in the Privacy policy, and only in Atlassian's Forge storage. When you uninstall, Atlassian deletes that storage. For 21 days after, you can ask Atlassian to reconnect it if you reinstall. After that it's gone for good.
6. Your responsibilities
- You decide which customers are imported, which organizations and projects they join, and which rules run. You're responsible for those choices and for the emails Jira Service Management sends because of them (invitations and participant emails).
- You confirm you have the right to upload the personal data in your files and to contact the people in them.
- Use the dry run, previews and confirmations to check before you go ahead.
7. Support and changes
We provide support as described on the Support page. We may update the app, and change or end features, with reasonable notice where we can.
8. No warranty
The app is provided "as is". We work hard to make it reliable, but we don't promise it will be error-free or always available. It depends on Atlassian's platform, which we don't control.
9. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of what you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100.
10. If you misuse the app
If someone makes a claim against us because you used the app against these terms or broke the law with it, you'll cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim. We'll tell you about the claim promptly and let you handle the defense.
11. Ending
You can stop at any time by uninstalling. We may end your access if you seriously break these terms. Everything the app did stays in Jira Service Management after uninstall. Before you uninstall, "Remove everything this app did" can take back the memberships and project links it added and the participants it added to open requests. Customer accounts, organizations and detail values stay unless you delete or change them yourself in Jira Service Management; the app lists the accounts and organizations it created (see Before you uninstall).
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and for changes that matter, give at least 30 days' notice on this page and in the app's listing before they take effect. If you keep using the app after that, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, uninstall.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts for Kenosha County, Wisconsin, unless the law where you are says otherwise.
